Easter lasts 50 days until May 28 — the Feast of Pentecost. So I hope you will celebrate all of these 50 days.
Back in October, our average Mass attendance was 480 as a Parish Family (5 Masses). On Palm Sunday, the attendance of our Masses was 705, and Easter was even more crowded, to say the least.
The 8 a.m. Easter Mass at St. Philomena was packed to the gills, and so was the 10 a.m. Mass at St. Louis. Our total attendance for all five Easter Masses was 940. That’s 500 more people attending Mass than we averaged back in October! I am beyond pleased to see so many people attending Masses in our Parish Family. Over the last several months, we have seen an increase in younger families as well. This is a great sign that things are moving in the right direction.
Know that my prayers and best wishes are with you as we celebrate the great event of our Lord’s Resurrection, where Christ continues to be present in the lives of His people.
God’s blessing and a joyful Easter Season to all.
